About The Game
Catnip Adventure is a metroidvania-style platform game where the player controls Bubble, a cat who decides to venture into the dangerous abandoned mines to obtain the Supreme Catnip, the only plant that can cure the disease plaguing his village. Bubble must explore the mines and make his way by defeating enemies to ultimately reach his goal.
This game was made for the Tecnogames 2023.

How To Download

- 2. Right click and unzip the ".rar" file
- 3. Open the folder and double click "CatnipAdventure.exe"
- 4. Enjoy!

Muy bonito y muy bien conseguido el vibe, los escenarios con parallax molaban mucho y las animaciones estaban bien acabadas. He echado un poco en falta el feedback sonoro de algunas cosas, aunque la música de fondo 10/10. Espero que os vaya muy bien en Tecnogames, ya nos veremos el viernes!
Muy bonito el juego, se nota bastante la inspiracion en Hollow Knight por los sound efects jeje.
Las animaciones de muerte y daño suelen bugearse con los pinchos (te quedas repitiendo la animación que estuvieras haciendo antes hasta que reapareces en otro sitio), sobretodo en las plataformas que se destruyen. Con el diálogo para entrar al boss final es un problema bastante grande porque hay un enemigo cerca (una medusa) que te puede atacar mientras estas en el diálogo y te deja softlocked, tienes que cerrar el juego y volverlo a abrir.
A mi también me ha pasado que el último poder que he encontrado ha sido el de respirar más tiempo (my bad), pero siendo un poder pensado para facilitar las cosas al inicio podríais considerar ponerlo en algún lugar más obligatorio para el avance. Por cierto, el boss final tiene un espacio detrás en el que cabe el jugador. No afecta en casi nada, pero es un poco confuso salir de ahí una vez te metes.
En general muy chulo el juego, me ha gustado.
